The vision is to carry out rural development, with community participation, that transforms the life of the people, through empowerment and utilising fully local resources towards sustainability.


The Organisation is a non-profit making entity with the main objectivate of uplifting the standards of living of the people of the Gwembe Valley and outlying areas through improving their economic, socio-cultural and environmental awareness status.

The Foundation carry out rural development work mandate with special attention to the following:

² Agriculture and environmental management

² Small-scale income generating activities for self-sustenance

² Water supply and sanitation

² Health/HlV/AIDS

² Education (formal and non-formal)

² Gender awareness Lobby and Advocacy

Any other appropriate rural development activities


The Foundation's operational office shall be located at Sinazeze Township, Nkandabbwe Ward in Sinazongwe chiefdom in Sinazongwe District, Southern Province of the Republic of Zambia.


This is a non governmental organisation  registered with the Registrar of Non-Governmental Organisations as per the NGOs Act of 2009 of the Laws of Zambia.


Kaluli Development Foundation is currently running the following projects;

1. Sustainable Livelihoods and Food Security Project (SULIFOSEP_II)

2. School Garden Project.

3. Vocational Youth Skills Project

4. Strengthening Local Partner Capacity for effective biodiversity-poverty interventions(Action Against Hunger)

5. Youth Centre Project.
